Oh yes, I won myself a pair of return tickets on Tigerair in celebration for them flying to the new destination. I will be taking their first flight out to Chiang Mai and return 4 days later.

This is my first time winning air tickets!

How I won the tickets is not about luck, I am grateful for my family and friends who took their precious time to help me ‘like’ or retweet my contest post. They are the ones who made my wish of going Chiang Mai came early.

Tiger Air 4D3N Trip
I have the intention to check out Chiang Mai next year, I have draft out a vague mental itinerary of how to get there and where else to explore in my brain. Although this trip is only 4 days 3 nights, definitely not enough time for me to check out Chiang Rai and experience taking the overnight train from Bangkok and wake up to beautiful sunrise. At least I am able to preview this northern city of Thailand before returning for the next time.

I am excited, I need the break (like since when do I not need a break? Ha!) I am not sure if this break came at the right time though because I am in the midst preparing for my presentation and 2014 account planning for work.

I will be flying off in 5 days time. I cannot wait to eat authentic Thai food, catch the big match (Arsenal v.s Liverpool), visit their weekend markets, venture into local markets, explore Doi Suthep, trek Doi Inthanon and of course massage.

Follow me on twitter or instagram as I will be hashtagging my tweets with #tigerair and #travellessordinary

Have you been there? Any suggestions what else is there worth for me to do/explore?

*disclaimer: I only won a pair of return tickets with Tigerair, expenses not included because only the 1st prize winner is entitled to $1,000 cash. For 2nd to 30th prizes, a pair of return tickets.
